This was a nice to take a walk down memory lane to a few years back when we went back to Memphis for Thanksgiving. It was our first Thanksgiving not living in town, so it was a treat to get to visit. I just remember this night being a lot of fun having most of the cousins together, and putting up the tree.

Girls Night

This page was a lot of fun to do, just because it reminded me of the fun night we all got to go out. The kit was: Pleased to Meet you by Juno Designs, and the template was for the tuesday template challenge at ScrapMatters for 4/17/09.

Happy to Be...It's interesting to think about all the things that bring me happiness. My husband and children make me happy. We have lots of loving family that makes me happy. My faith makes me happy.I just read a great series of books that made me happy, and I have great friends that make me happy. There are so many things. This just names a few, but overall I just feel happy to be loved, healthy, and blessed.

New Kits

I have been working with some new kits of Maria's. First was from the pictures that Li took when Luke was born. They turned out so amazing, it's been intimidating up til now to do anything with them besides hang them on the wall. The kit is Mr. and Mrs. Brown

Here is from when we when biking a few weeks ago, using another great Maria design. It was called BeautyFall. I loved this day. It was just so great to be out and about after being cooped up indoors for so long.

Staying Wet

This was just one of the many nights that we went up to the school to watch Ben play softball. We had a lot of fun watching and then running through the fountain. Yes, security came out and told us to stop, but we weren't breaking any laws, just having some fun with our feisty 2 year old! Just thinking about those night makes me excited for another summer to come around.

Creative Outlets

Hey there blogging world! I decided that I wanted some place all of my scrap book pages for anyone who was interested, and that it should be separate from our family blog so here it goes. This is my therapy. As a mom of two small kids, it's not often that I can do things "for myself", and that's okay, because it's not supposed to be that way. But if I can steal some time during nap time or after bedtime to do something creative I find that it makes everything else so much more balanced in my life. Enjoy some of our family moments!
